Coaching and Addiction Counselling Cork
I’m Lisa, a life coach and addiction counsellor with more than 25 years’ experience supporting individuals and families through change.
Over the past 25 years, I’ve worked closely with people navigating addiction, relapse, anxiety, burnout, and significant life transitions.
I’ve supported people in crisis, in early recovery, in setbacks, and in breakthrough moments.
Those years have shaped how I work.
I’ve learned that lasting change doesn’t come from pressure. It comes from feeling safe enough to be honest. From having someone who can sit with the difficult parts while helping you see what’s possible.
My approach combines counselling insight with practical coaching tools — so you’re not just talking about change, you’re building it in real life.
We begin by exploring patterns in your thoughts, behaviours, and responses — helping you recognise what may be keeping you stuck. With greater understanding comes more choice in how you respond and move forward.
Awareness is the foundation for change. Together, we create a space where you can reflect honestly, without pressure or criticism, so you can better understand yourself and your experiences.
You’ll learn practical ways to manage emotions, reduce overwhelm, and step out of overthinking patterns — helping you feel more steady, balanced, and in control.
We focus on tools and strategies you can actually use day to day — not just ideas, but realistic approaches that support you in making meaningful, lasting changes.
There’s no pressure to rush. This is about steady progress, building confidence, and moving forward in a way that feels right for you and your life.
A calm, supportive space where you can feel heard and understood.
Creating a safe and steady environment before focusing on change.
Focusing on small, meaningful steps rather than unrealistic expectations.
Building on what’s already strong rather than focusing on what’s wrong.
Providing tools and strategies that fit into your everyday life.
Creating space for open, honest conversations without pressure or expectation.
You don’t need to have everything figured out. You just need a place to start.
Taking that first step can feel difficult, but you don’t have to do it alone. We can begin with a simple conversation and find what feels right for you.
